Local security workspace
About Halden
Halden keeps local projects in one desktop workspace and runs security checks when you choose a project and start a scan.
What Halden does
Halden is a desktop workspace for running local security checks on the projects you add.
Select a project to review a valid saved result when one is available and run a fresh local scan when needed. The Dashboard separates supported Fixes, manual review, environment files, and optional repository checks.
Why it exists
A local project may need another security check before publishing, after you return to it, or when its local setup changes.
Halden keeps the same project-by-project check workflow in one desktop workspace.
Local-first by design
Project source code, env values, detected secret values, scan results, suggested fixes, and user-approved local edits are processed on your device during normal use.
The web service handles account sign-in, license status, checkout, and the account dashboard. It does not need your source code or env values to enforce project access.
Starter and Lifetime
Starter includes one local project and one active desktop device for the signed-in account.
Lifetime unlocks additional local projects and up to three active desktop devices for the same account while keeping the same local-first scanning model.
Start with one local project
